Second Anual Contest of Projects for Organizations of and for People with Disabilities NWA 2006.
The goal of this Anual Contest is to strengthen the role of the NGO’s in their communities by encouraging cooperation with other organizations, in order to generate a project that will benefit their community. Thus, we encourage network-style work between organizations and promote integration and more visibility for the NGO’s. In 2005, the Contest was held in the northeast region of Argentina. Each year, La Usina will launch the Contest in a different region; for 2006 it will be held in the Northwest of the country.We promote the purchase and use of products made by people with disabilities.

Launching of RedActivos
We will launch RedActivos, a fair-trade network that wishes to promote the purchase of products elaborated by people with disabilities in the workshops they attend. It will include a web page to exhibit these products; the portal hopes to become a starting point for workers and an opportunity for clients.We want to strengthen our nation-wide network of Social NGO’s with an annual meeting

Annual Meeting of NGO’s in Disabilities
The meeting will encourage networking and to establish links between different NGO’s through the country. We hope to have at least one representative from each province.
