During this first 5 years:

340 articles in media: nationa l, regional and local articles (print, tv, radio, online and Institutional company magazines), that contribute to keep installing this skills in the public opinion, and change the invisibility of people with disabilities in the society.

61.334 visits to our website, giving citizens the opportunity of being informed about disabilities and keep building a society with all for all. During 2005 and 2006 we doubled the visits to the site and in 3 years we increased visits from 400 to 5000 monthly.

240 answered requests personally, about different things related to disabilities (employment, law, leisure time) creating links between organizations and people with disabilities.

1627 subscriptions to the Bulletin and Info rmative Documents about disabilities and Organization management.

Several links with different areas of the society to continue educating and awaring the community about the importance of building a society all together and for all:

More than 4000 contacts in our data base, to whom we send frequently information about our work in disabilities and contribute to start making people aware.

2110 organizations of national disabilities to build a data base to consult.

1 Regional Award to motivate disabilities organizations to work in a network with other organizations.

2 National Contests of Creativity Campaigns in Disabilities, targeted to students of communications and advertising. In 2007 we will be launching the Contest for the 3 rd consecutive year.

2 National Campaigns to raise public awareness : in disabilities, with ads in ooh, tv, radio, print and online. During 2007 the 3erd National Campaign will be held, the only one about this with continuity in the country.

36 actions done in the first 5 years in different places such as Argentina and bordering countries ( Uruguay , Brazil ).

50 people , voluntaries and paid, that every day build La Usina and are committed with the activity.

20 cities we had visited doing different actions and raising awareness.

More than 30 organizations of disabilities of all the country to whom we had given institutional advice so as to strengthen and improve the services to handicapped.

8 recognitions that La Usina and their contributors had received since the creation, including:

::  Moviliza 2006 Award (organized by Global Network Ashoka and Mc Kinsey & Co.) best strategy of development in resources for the “Project RedActivos” of La Usina.

::  First Award to the contest “Seconds for all” organized by Cablevision, for the best Campaign of Beneficence and for the First Campaign of Awareness Raise for La Usina

::  Bea Pellizzari, La Usina Director , Finalist of Social Entrepreneur of the year in 2005, given by Schwab Switzerland Foundation and the local newspaper El Cronista Comercial and Finalist of Visionaris 2006 Award – Recognition of the Social Entrepreneur, organized by UBS.

::  José Garay, La Usina President , selected as one of the “Ten young Outstanding People in Argentina ” by the TOyP Program in 2004.

21 participations in conferences and events , mainly not related to disability, to position this subject in different publics, with forums of disability, presenting campaigns of Raising Awareness and distributing information fliers to the participants.

More than 20.000 information leaflets and flyers delivered to the citizens in different actions.

We presented different innovative projects , most of them were in different cities that want to generate link between people with and without disabilities as way of innovation.

:: Sensitive forum “Invisible groups. One reality. Live it!”

:: Tennis lessons to the community “Different. Come and play”

:: The campaign “The difference makes us attractive” with Zaff jeans, positioning in the fashion World and in a female young target, the disability subject

:: The project “RedActivos. We add Value, that will bring resources to La Usina to develop the actions, and contribute to reduce poverty and exclusion of workers with disabilities.
